I hate it when me and my mum fight but she was being horrible to me and so now I'm stuck upstairs all on my own when I could be downstairs having a chat like we were before. Feeling miserable now as well - two nights in a row we've fought as well. But I'm more irritated about it tonight coz tonight's been dead fun one way and another and now she's just killed it.

Back from Berlin - what a send off to my History trip career! hehe. As with every history trip there were moments where you just thought "Why on earth am I here when I could be at home having a lie-in?!" but there were loads of fun moments too and I even got the Best Student/Loyalty Award at the end. Shared the Best Student part with Katie but the loyalty was alll mine! Highlights included the Christmas markets, Team Woodstock, mine, Em and Katie's random times in the room and, of course, 'Continental Yoghurts!' (oh Mini!) - as well as many other in jokes and the like.

I've just finished unpacking and I've tidied up my room and washed my hair so now all that's left to do tonight is relax and watch some telly before dinner! Have to finish off a fic tonight too but I'll leave that 'til later.

I go tomorrow - off to Berlin at FIVE in the morning...ahhh, History Dept trips, funny but I reckon I'm still gonna miss 'em! lol. I'll be gone 'til Saturday so probably won't be able to post any fic this week...oh well, next fic will be a Christmas present that way! hehe

Packing all done now...and one of my favourite necklaces lost behind my HUGE chest of drawers :( But I'll see if I can get it back with a coat hanger or something on another day.

It is true. He is. BBC can winge all they want but it won't change a thing. Three out of four penalty saves for our club...just amazing!

Anyway, onto other matters. I'm suffering from writer's block tonight :( Well actually I'm suffering from EVERYTHING block really, I'm just so...meh. I don't know what's got into me. I really outght to cheer up though, I mean...I'm off to Berlin on Wednesday!! And although I'm missing the match on Saturday because of it I'm still really excited. Final shopping trip for it tomorrow afternoon which should be good.

I think I'll go off and watch X Factor maybe...I'm not that fussed about it but it's always nice and dramatic in the final isn't it! hehe. Nighty night.x

Another Week

Almost over! Just double History and double English left to get through and they won't be much chore. This time next week though, I'll be in Berlin! I'm really looking forward to it - my last History dept trip!!! End of an era much! They'll be looking around for me next year wondering where I've got to! lol

Speaking of next year - safe in the knowledge of my offer for Creative Writing at Chester, what do I do to prove my skill for the course? Make this week's fic challenge one of the weirdest ideas possible, that's what! I was happy with it before but now I'm beginning to think I'm crazy! It's like a phrasebook to the lads' friendship sort of thing? It's hard to explain...but I'm pretty confident everyone's going to think I've lost my marbles!! hehe

Anyway, off to bed for me! Have been SHATTERED all this week, I want Christmas already!!x

A Nice Day

Today's a nice day I think...I'm still on a high from seeing Never Forget last night!!! All the singing and dancing along in the finale was as close to a live concert atmosphere as you're going to get away from seeing Take That live...which, let's face it, is a very rare treat. The best treats always are though!!

Thank you everyone who commented on yesterday's fic while I was out at the theatre by the way, such lovely things to get back home to!

Duchess Of Malfi

I really don't want to write a huuuuge essay about language in The Duchess Of Malfi. I just don't. I want to curl up and listen to Take That's live album or maybe watch the DVD if I could keep my eyes open long enough to do it justice. My special fan edition came yesterday in its snazzy box too so even more tempting for me to just ignore the essay. But I can't give Mrs.Keaye another late essay...especially as it was actually supposed to be in today but she was out of school so we got extra time.

Oh well, I've polished off tomorrow's fic (to anyone planning on reading I've got my fingers crossed it's going to be quite a fluffy treat!) and I've also written out all my theatre lovelies' Christmas cards and posted them off so other than the essay I'm pretty well on top of things right now!

I cannot stop listening to Abbey Road Shine and Rule The World!! I keep trying to move onto shuffle all songs on my ipod but I just can't tear myself away from The Greatest Day album! It doesn't seem a bad thing though coz whilst listening I managed to get two whole prompts done and dusted!! Not too shabby eh! hehe

Tonight I have some poetry to analyse - Rhapsody On A Windy Night. Only two verses and then Guy's doing the other two and we're working on the last one in English tomorrow. Speaking of Guy - apparantly we're going to Mr.Leech's house for Philosophy tomorrow...and Kester's driving us....can I just ask WHAT THE HELL?! lol. Couldn't he have just sent us in work like a normal teacher would?! Oh well...I suppose it'll be an interesting experience.

I think I might go and watch some rubbishy TV for a bit before I dive into T.S.Eliot. No one tell Chester Uni what my priorities are!!

Tonight is one of those nights where I can think of plenty of things I need to do but can't quite bring myself to do any of them. I have a fic idea to work on, John, Chris, Deano and Ryan's cards to write out, poetry to analyse and notes that I ought to make for history on topics ranging from Richard III to Pre-1914 Germany. I do have frees for most of tomorrow however so maybe I could do all that proper work then. So then I'd only have to do the fun stuff like writing and thinking of nice things to say to my four gorgeous theatre boys.

Ok, I'll go and stall some more by updating my ipod! Nighty night.x

Frustrated? A little...

Supporting Stoke isn't half frustrating sometimes. Thing is, a draw was probably a fair result today and the game was decent enough fun but if we'd had a slightly different squad selection we could've won it. Happy or sad is a tough call. Blah would probably be the best summary.

On another note - is it just me or was Danii the only judge on X Factor who got the memo that Take That have a lot of non-90s (and non-cover version!) songs available for the singing? I wouldn't have minded so much if there'd just been one more recent one in there coz I love most of the 90s stuff too but...oh I don't know, maybe I'm just being tetchy today coz of the football! It doesn't make any difference anyway if the boys aren't there really does it!! Funny how almost everyone still calls them the Take That boys...well I still call 'em that anyway! lol

Anyway, I should probably just get over it all and move on - I promise I do have a life, I just don't seem to have much of one this weekend! G'night all.x

My name is Malinda and I'm a Circus Live-aholic. Help meeeee!! I know I shouldn't watch it again coz I'll spoil it for myself, but everything on tv seems a bit blah afterwards :( Before you ask - yes, I'm addicted to the Abbey Road bit too but I'm trying not to overlisten to those versions of the songs before the live CD in case I spoil them for myself.

In other news, I'm seeing Dean again tomorrow night! So the plan is, Toby and me come back to my house, watch tv and be boring, he'll probably ditch me for msn for a bit, I'll ditch him to post up this week's fic for a bit and then I'll agonise over what to wear for a loooong time then we'll head off to Hanley! I'm unsure if I'll take up Dean's offer of an interval photo...I soooo want to but I'm terrified of asking the stage door lady to call him down! Oh well, I'm sure I can get over it for Deano's sake!

Off to Blackburn for the match this weekend - everything crossed for a Whelan and Lawrence start. Although secretly we all know there's no way in hell that Pulis would really change up a winning squad and that he has a man crush on certain players and yada yada. I don't like being a Pulis moaner, and I've stuck up for him every step of the way so far but....starting to grate. Seriously.

Anyway, I'm off to try not to put my dvd on and enjoy an essay free night! Night all.x

Unis And DVDs

Chester, UEA and Warwick all have my application now...I kinda don't want them to read it tbh. It's all a bit embarrassing!! hehe Oh well, as long as they send me really nice offers that I'm confident of achieving! lol I tell ya, none of 'em would let me in on the strength of my work tonight! One essay. That's all. It's not even as if I'm snowed under this week - it's the only essay in for this week what with Mr.Leech breaking his leg. But still I do nothing. I don't enjoy Shakespeare sometimes...God, talk about things not to admit for the English Lit/Creative Writing student!!! But it's true!! The plot's ok but the imagery...it scrambles my brain!!

I watched my Circus dvd, start to finish, transfixed and utterly in love on Saturday night! I cried four times. Yes, four times - I'm that soppy!! But two were "wow, I saw this live, it's amazing, I want to go back" moments and one was a "this song is so beautiful and special to me and it's about something that hurts but it kinda heals me" moment. Then after Rule The World I cried again and it was just coz it was all over and it was almost as hard to cope with as the end of the real thing although nothing could quite compete with that feeling!! I can't wait for the live album now - I want the gorgeous Abbey Road versions!! They're BEAUTIFUL! Seriously, What Is Love and The Garden just blew me away and I can't wait for their reworkings of Said It All and Shine to be on my ipod!

Right, am off for Take Five of 'Doing my English essay' - wish me luck!x

Tunstall?!!

I saw Deano last night! The man never changes hehe. He greeted me with his traditional "Ohh no!" and then quickly gave me a hug and we chatted all about his role in Chitty and my travels up and down the country and then he revealed to us that his digs were in Tunstall and he laughed as me and my mum recoiled in horror! lol He also likened his part to Grizabella...made more amusing by the fact that he actually had a point!!

My mum and me went shopping before the show yesterday and I got presents for my friends, cards for Ryan, Dean, John and Chris and also my mum treated me to Boosh live on DVD, new stripey "Do I look like a morning person?" PJs, a fluffy snuggly dressing gown, a grey jumper thing, a new grey three-quarter sleeves t-shirt, a little jacket thing for layering purposes on the Berlin trip and a gorrrgeous grey coat from Topshop that I am completely besotted with!!

Then, to top it all off - The Circus Live came today!!!! It's sitting in front of me now and hasn't been out of my sight all day! Haven't actually watched it yet, my mum says that later tonight she'll watch it with me and we're going to watch it on the reeeeally big telly and everything! YAY!

The only way this weekend could get better is if Stoke win tomorrow....*crosses fingers*

Challenge

How is it that the easiest words to write a story around are actually the harderst to come up with plot for?! I think it's coz there's just to much blummin' scope with 'friends'...after all, it's the idea that really underpins ALL of my challenge stories so far...hmm. Oh well, I'll finish colourless first then worry about it more. There is also the small detail of four essays and an essay plan to be done next week though...but at least I see Dean at the end of it!

Can't believe I'll be seeing Dean again next weekend!! That's really crept up on me! Can't wait though!! And then the Portsmouth game on the Sunday too! Am taking my Denmark flag - Sorro, I'm cominnng! lol

anyway, nothing else on my mind right now so I'm off to have some pizza! byeee.x

My legs hurt so bad and I don't know why :(
On the upside though, as Never Forget is touring I'm going to see it! In Liverpool on December 4th to be precise. Can't wait!

Apprently the Stoke players have been making plates this week...Sorensen and Simmo were plate rivals but Sorro got the last laugh coz he got in a little tease at Simmo. I love the banter between those two, you'd think Simmo would loath Sorro but the little goalkeeping trio always look so cute before matches! AQ, Simmo and Sorro always look like they're out on a picnic or something during warmup!

Four Essay Subjects?!

I'm nuts. Honestly. Section me now. Essays coming out my flipping ears!!! *weeps* And am also watching Southampton v...um...someone beginning with a C. Why?! I've lost the plot! I need another half term already! lol

On the brightside, my mum bought me the DVD of Never Forget (the Take That musical) today just coz she saw it and thought of me! How sweet is that?! hehe

Despite the lack of football, I'm kinda looking forward to this weekend. Hopefully I'm going to make a music video of Grizabella to Oh What A Circus from Evita, write out Dean, John, Chris and Rachel's Christmas cards (and possibly Zak if I can find a theatre for him...) and also make Ryan's card. Yes he's getting a hand made one, yes I do spoil him! lol He's so good to me when I come see him though - it's such a nice change from Kevin coz you can actually TRUST him to look out for you, remember stuff, work out that you'll be at stage door etc. Anyway, it's all planned out.

Right, I should have been in the shower a good ten minutes ago! Night all.x

Oh my gosh - this week is turning out so well! Mr.Leech isn't going to be in Thursday afternoon so I have two free afternoons in a row! Add into that that I'm off (all by myself!) to Northampton to see Ryan and am getting a recorder for my ipod (completely unrelated to my new found love of Evita and trip to see it *cough cough*!! Plus I just had suuuuuch a lovely review! Yayness!!
